Papa George's – September 30, 2011 The Alberta Nord Bailliage travelled to Jasper on the weekend of September 30th to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of legendary explorer David Thompson’s 1811 discovery of the Athabasca Pass. Friday evening’s mountain fare at Papa George’s included mouth-watering cured lake trout, crispy boar belly, rubbed elk loin and Saskatoon berry tarts expertly prepared by Executive chef Dale Nutt and his kitchen.
